We had a great Christmas Eve this year. G.G. came to spend the night with us! Of course it was filled with lots of Johns traditions like making cookies and reindeer food and then ending the evening watching some of "Daddy's BAD ADULT MOVIES." Ha! Ha!
Okay, here's the explanation. Bradley has been wanting to watch Spider Man for a REALLY long time. Well, Brent and I thought this movie would be a little violent for his age and it might give him nightmares. So in giving him continuous reasons as to why he needed to wait to watch this movie we would say things like... "this movie has some 'bad' characters and scenes in it that might give you scary dreams" or "some movies are better for older kids and 'adults' to watch." Well, you get the picture. yeah, we are just waiting for the day that he says this in front of the wrong people. We'll have the DEACON SQUAD over here scanning our computers. ha! ha! Just kidding... or am I?
Oh, and just so you know... we watched Spider Man that night. He didn't make it past the spider biting Peter before he said the movie was lame, and where was all the flying and fighting. ha! ha!
