Bradley's First Day of Gymnastics

This was Bradley's first day of gymnastics at JAG. Actually, this is the first extracurricular activity he has ever been a part of and excitement doesn't even describe him. How did we choose gymnastics? Mainly because of his love of Spiderman. It was between soccer and gymnastics all summer. When faced with a choice between the two, he chose gym because he just new he was going to learn Spiderman moves there. Gotta love it.

Breanna's First Visit to the Dentist and Bradley finds out he has two loose teeth

We just went to the dentist today and the kids had their teeth cleaned. While we were there Bradley was told that his two middle, bottom teeth are loose! Can you believe it? Our little man has loose teeth. This should not be happening yet!! He just turned 5 for heaven's sake. They said this is early, but well in the normal range.

Breanna had her first visit just after Bradley was finished. Mrs. Cindi was so good to her. She handled everything so well... just like her brother. The only thing... she nearly lost it with the fluoride treatment. But so did Bradley... you'll see.

Gatlinburg Vacation 2009

This was such a great vacation this year. We came with a plan and did everything on it!! The weather was beautiful and temperature was perfect!! 8 days of bliss... ahh... While we were there Breanna turned 3 years old. This was her second birthday in the mountains. What a great place to celebrate.

Bradley's 5th Birthday Party

Today we had a Superhero Scavenger Hunt Party for Bradley's 5th birthday. It was so much fun. There were about 5 of his little friends there and they were all dressed up like superheros. First, we got out our portable DVD player and we listened to a secret message from our commander for the day... Mr. David all dressed up. Our first clues led us to Chuck-E-Cheese where we all got tokens and around an hour to spend them. Then we listened to our next set of clues from Mr. David. They took us to the Glow-In-The-Dark golf in the mall. This was really cool because everyone started glowing as soon as they entered. Lots of fun. Finally, our clues took us back home for pizza, cake and presents. We had a great day with all our superhero friends!! I think 3 Batman's came, along with Bumblebee, Indiana Jones, Spiderman, one cute little Lady Bug. We so missed our sweet friends Silas and Dayton!!

We were all out working on the school site today... lots of volunteers and teachers getting together to make the opening of Covenant Christian Academy look beautiful. Today's work was laying sod. It was stinkin' hot out there. The kids participated as well! Actually, they just ran around in the water while we drenched the grass.
